One of the things I've been busily, distractedly doing is writing freelance articles; here is one, a cynical ode to our nation's capital on a co-worker-friend's site. Another Chicklit article to be finished (fingers crossed) by the end of the week, and a third that's currently germinating somewhere in the nether regions of the ole' brainstem.
