These are dark days, my friends, when I transcribe political ads for 10 hours straight, and I can't spend one more second at a computer today. So I am lame-ass-edly fulfilling my second-week-of-GBC duty with an atrocious cop-out question: Would any of you -- meaning the people with whom I generally exchange holiday-ish gifts, or the people who would like to exchange holiday-ish gifts -- like knitted items this year?
I would like to knit things and give them to you, but I fear I have saturated my market (especially with my early work that featured many gaping holes and floppy scary hats) and I certainly do not want to foist knitted items upon people who do not want them. I really like knitting things for you, though, and you and you and you, and I personally like receiving handmade gifts very much. I also happen to have a lot of very cool yarn right now. And I also also happen to have learned a couple new tricks recently, and the era of the unintentionally hole-y and floppy is over. I'm pretty decent now, I swear. You won't be embarrassed to wear the stuff in public.
Any takers? I will even accept color and scarf/hat preferences.
