You know what's awesome after a full day of work (at a job, by the way, that is not quite as secure as it once was, due to The Economy You Know How It Is I Mean Don't WORRY About Your Position Exactly But Maybe Worry Just A Little Bit)? Reading 50 pages of "Foundations of Library and Information Science" and taking a quiz on it.
You know what else is awesome? Opening up an estimate from your insurance company that says it will cover exactly FOURTEEN DOLLARS of the proposed $4285 that your dentist wants to charge you for some really fun and exciting times in your future. Great timing.
Damn it. All I want to do is bake some pumpkin muffins and watch some crappy television on the Internet. I would like to do those things with a paying job and also with all my teeth. Is that too much to ask, universe? Actually, it sounds like a lot when phrased that way, so maybe it is.

No, it's really not a lot to ask. I sympathize with you. I've got finals next week, and I have to have a root canal redone the following week. Since it's a botched root canal and crown, I have to go after my old dentist to get the money back and then apply that money towards the balance I'm shelling out to get out of pain now. Dental insurance FAIL. I'm considering going home to FIL Cap'n Neil DDS and having him just pull the durn thing.
I do hope you feel better soon and things get better. :-)
