Who drove home with someone's cell phone in her bag because she was busy programming "DAH, dah dah dah DAH DAH, daaaah dah dah dah DAH" into the editable ring tone melody feature? I love that song. It makes my heart fill with cheezy pride for the hard work of all the people under the tent, and their families and their mortarboards and their diplomas. Yay! Loved the lovely gradutation weekend. Also, I am proud of Bang's mother for giving birth to her. Love the lovely Angie G-Bangie, too.
After driving back (but sans extra cell phone) on Sunday night, I was lured out by the promise of mini golf for a friend's birthday. We all know how dearly I adore the mini golf. But before I proved my clear superiority on the Astroturf, we went to Generous George's in Alexandria, which was a somewhat astounding pizza place. Think Pappy's (hi Lancastrians), Toys R Us, an abandoned amusement park and the inside of Jackson Pollack's brain all rolled into one. Twenty-foot-tall nutcracker soldiers guard the bubble-gum-pink front door, if that gives you some indication. The food was kind of gross, but what ambiance -- I'll never look at giant plastic giraffes the same way again.
