Looks like the authors of "The Nanny Diaries" won't be putting out their new book as soon as they thought -- which is kind of too bad, because their first sentence is either hilarious or atrocious, depending on how you look at it. Here it is. Either way, though, that sentence would probably have kept me reading, so hopefully they'll find another publisher for it. A smaller guy that's more willing to take risks, perhaps. (Quick journalism aside to Mr. NY Times: Quoting unnamed sources in a business brief about a book deal? Haven't you people learned anything?)
