Ladies and gentlemen, may I present the best lede paragraph in history, from a Post story entitled On Top of Alabama's Other Headaches, Gators Gone Wild:
Sometimes Chucky has three-chicken days, and sometimes Chucky has six-chicken days. But Chucky does not enjoy no-chicken days -- and Thursday was his second in a row.
I am adopting this, the Chucky Standard, as my new measure of life. For example, today I had a four-chicken day -- without the first two hours or so, it might even have been a five-chicken day. How about you?
