hiatus from the hiatus

Suddenly, I sort of miss blogging. I believe this attack has been brought on by a massive freelance project I have stupidly undertaken... it is so truly massive, so overwhelmingly time-consuming, that I am desperately casting about for something that lets me tell myself I'm working (i.e., facing a computer) but can use to sneak furtive breaks in the actual work. Plus maybe I missed you.
