two months 'til 31

Kindly direct your glance over to No. 4 on the 30 for 30 list. That honestly has been one of the hardest goals on the list for me, and also one of the most worthwhile. It's been interesting to try to balance out my over-enthusiastic consumption of modern literary fiction with something else, and I wanted to make sure I finished A Bright Shining Lie before I introduce books and articles for school into the mix. I have a ton of reading to do before the one-credit introductory class I have next weekend (plus a preliminary essay, oh the joy, already) and my regular semester-long classes start the week after, and I have a feeling this nonfiction won't be as well-written as what I just finished.

And here is No. 7 for No. 18: That isn't any ordinary bubble gum -- that's Spiedie Fest bubble gum. It was slightly more photogenic than the fried Oreos.
