You know when sometimes you wind up doing something that involves deadlines and relying on other people to give you some of their time, and then they wind up "not having time" -- whatever meaning that might take on in this particular context -- and you wind up screwing over people on the other end who are waiting for the thing the first people are dawdling over because the second people need it to start their portion and won't hesitate to tell you that if you miss their deadline they won't be able to get it finished for you on time, and the whole thing seems like it might crash down because the people who are waiting for the thing don't really care who's taking so long or why, they just want it done? And nothing's really gone sour yet, but you can envision a scenario in which everyone involved is really, really displeased? Yeah. Sufficiently vague, but that's about my Monday morning so far. No one's panicking yet, though. We're staying calm. Oh yes we are. So very calm. :)
